Come join us for a summer of adventure and work! Our family business has 4 locations within the small town of Skagway, all serving visitors and locals in different ways. Skagway is a bustling cruise ship port in the summer months and that's why we need YOU to join our team. In a typical summer roughly 1 million people will visit Skagway. Don't let those numbers fool you though, Skagway is a small town of 800 people. What makes us unique is our stores are some of the very few that stay open year round. Meaning you will serve not just visitors, but locals as well.
In a typical summer season, we'll hire 15-25 seasonal staff to work all 4 of our stores. We have co-ed housing built especially for our employees that is centrally located in the community and within walking distance of all our stores.
Typical duties involve serving cruise visitors from the daily cruise ships. Depending what store you work at you could be serving ice cream, selling outdoor gear, ringing up snacks and travel accessories, or helping people find new comfortable shoes. When you apply with us you are considered for all 4 locations.
